The primary purpose of this grant is to support storytelling that exemplifies the Satterberg Foundation’s Committee on Moral Courage, as defined here “Taking action despite the risk of negative consequences for doing so.” This continues the Satterberg Foundation tradition of storytelling around issues of Moral Courage, through grants to individuals and organizations who expressed Moral Courage and supporting them in telling their stories to a wider audience.
The grants are offered in partnership with the Satterberg Foundation, continuing their tradition of supporting storytellers with projects rooted in moral courage and “taking action despite the risk of negative consequences for doing so”. The Foundation’s Moral Courage Committee (MCC) has a long history of offering grants to individuals and organizations to help their work come to fruition and reach wider audiences.
