Grant funding may cover a wide variety of home repairs and modifications. Applications will be awarded to eligible property owners proposing health and safety improvements. These grants are provided on an unsecured basis; there is no repayment required unless the grant recipient does not comply with program terms.
Criteria
To be eligible, at least one household member must be aged 60 or older or have a disability recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Household income may not be higher than 80% of the Area Median Income. In addition, the property assessment must be below the Town of Needham average assessed value for a single-family home.
