The purpose of these grants is to provide funding to organizations that demonstrate the ability to reach and support Richland County seniors (those age 60 and older) with innovative and effective methods for combating social isolation. This funding opportunity is made possible by the Richland County Senior Services Levy. There is no required match by awardees. Successful applicants will demonstrate a clear and innovative plan for how they will interact and engage with at-risk seniors in group settings throughout the course of the year.
Funding Information
Awardees can receive up to $10,000 to fund their project.

April 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026.
Uses of Funds
Funds May Be Used For:
- Senior-specific materials
- Staffing directly supporting participants (up to 10% of award)
- Meals or light refreshments (food licensure required if preparing food)
- Marketing and outreach targeting older adults.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be an established organization or business located in Richland County, Ohio
- Currently offer programs or services to the community in a group setting
- Demonstrate the ability to incorporate Richland County residents age 60+ into existing programs or services
- Implement intake, screening, and referral processes
- Collect and report program outcomes
- Provide required documentation (proof of insurance, Ohio Secretary of State registration, and food license if applicable).
