- Eligible Use of Funds
- Grant requests for operating, programmatic, and capital support are eligible when they align with the Foundation’s priorities.
- Geographic Area
- Organizations must serve communities within the geographic area defined by the Schulenburg and/or Weimar school districts.
- Tax Status
- Grants are made only to nonprofit organizations that are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) or 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Ineligible Requests
- The Foundation does not fund individuals, political campaigns or endeavors, or programs that require adherence to a particular religious belief or practice to receive services. (Faithbased organizations serving the community-at-large will be considered.)
