Priority will be given to initiatives that reach disparately impacted communities and those that are evidence-based.
Stearns County will be receiving approximately $9,000,000 in settlement funds over the next 18 years from the nationwide opioid settlements with pharmaceutical distributors. These funds will be designated for prevention, reducing harm, and providing recovery resources for those impacted by opioid use.
Use of funding recommendations will focus on the following three pillars:
- Prevention
