This grant is for public art installations, murals, and shovel-ready placemaking projects that contribute to Seaside’s long-term cultural vitality and enhance the City’s appeal as a tourism destination.

Up to $25,000 in grant funding is available for the 2025-2026 inaugural cycle.
Eligibility Criteria
Artists, property owners, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, civic groups, and any combinations of the above with shovel-ready projects or placemaking public-art proposals that will enhance the visual landscape of Seaside and contribute to the unique community experience in Seaside are encouraged to apply. Projects must demonstrate potential appeal to tourists traveling from 50 miles or more away (that is, the community project can be marketed to potential visitors to encourage overnight visitation). Projects receiving grant funding must remain within the Seaside area following completion.
