To foster this mission, a grant is available to be disbursed to Nonprofit Organizations whose programs or projects relate to the promotion of tourism, arts and culture, or public events. The Alamosa Local Marketing District will consider funding for marketing projects designed to promote or enhance destination travel to Alamosa.
Funding Information
Maximum Request: Projects may be funded up to $7,500.00.
Grant Period
Projects must be completed within the grant cycle (April 2026 – March 2027).
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a Nonprofit Organization.
- Eligible projects include those that promote tourism, arts and culture, or public events in Alamosa County.
Ineligibility
The following cannot be paid for with grant funds:
- Wages or Salaries.
- Office Supplies or Items for Resale.
- Lobbying, Membership Dues, Conference Registrations.
- Travel expenses (including accommodations and non-marketing transportation).
- Equipment Purchases or Rentals.
- Alcoholic Beverages.
- Infrastructure/Construction/Facility Modification.
- Cash prizes or Scholarships.
