The First Responders Grant support the education, training, lifesaving equipment and/or mental health needs of first responders. The following types of organizations from across the United States are eligible to apply:
- Volunteer fire departments
- Volunteer emergency medical service (EMS) agencies
- Paid law enforcement agencies with 25 or less employees
Funding Inormation
Grants up to $1,500.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, an organization with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, or a government entity located in the United States
- Only volunteer fire and emergency medical service (EMS) agencies will be considered
- Only paid law enforcement agencies with 25 or less employees will be considered
- Total project budget should not exceed $10,000
- Program or projects must directly support the education, training, lifesaving equipment, and mental health needs of first responders
- All grant funding must be used for direct program or project expenses
- Recent First Responder Grant Round award recipients are not eligible to reapply unless they received funding prior to January 1, 2023 Only one request will be accepted per organization.
