Project Grants aim to support innovative projects led by artists, individuals, and communities that address cultural gaps and foster fresh avenues for creative engagement.
Funding Information
- Applicants can request one of three levels of funding: $3,000, $5,000 or $7,000.
- When applying for a Project Grant, applicants have the option to apply for an additional $1,000 grant called the BelRed Arts District bonus.
Grant Period
Funding is only available for one year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals, groups, businesses, or organizations who are the primary project leaders.
- Individuals must be 18 years of age or older and have a Social Security Number, Tax ID or an EIN.
- Projects must be publicly accessible, take place in Bellevue, and involve at least one artist or cultural practitioner.
- Applicants who received Project Grants in prior years may apply to this program again with the same or different projects.
Ineligibility
- Applicants who receive Eastside Arts Partnership (EAP) grants.
- Applicants proposing projects that do not involve an art, cultural or heritage element.
