The Well Foundation, formerly the Goshen Hospital & Health Care Foundation, was established in 1969 to support Goshen General Hospital and help ensure ongoing access to quality health care in region. Over nearly five decades, it awarded more than $6 million to meet health needs throughout the community.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants include:
- Organizations classified as 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charities
- Public entities such as schools, municipalities, governmental units, and chambers of commerce
Projects from religiously affiliated organizations may be considered if the project or program is nonsectarian.
The foundation does not fund
- Individuals
- Budget deficits or debt reduction
- Expenses incurred prior to the grant period
- Church buildings or grounds (exceptions may be made for daycare ministries)
- Proselytizing or political party activities
- Scholarships for post-secondary education
- Policy or lobbying efforts
