Applications are now open for the Sylvania Franciscan Foundation Fund. This grant program is available to nonprofit organizations based in Ohio that have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
The fund supports projects focused on combating human trafficking, supporting victims, and assisting immigrants and refugees. It also aims to promote social justice and equal access to opportunities through a range of programs and strategies.
In addition, the Foundation supports initiatives aligned with Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ call to care for the environment. Projects addressing climate change, pollution, sustainable living, ecological education, and community engagement are eligible.
Grant amounts range from $5,000 to $50,000 and are awarded competitively. Each grant typically covers a one-year project period. The application deadline is August 15, 2025.
