- Applicants must be in good standing with FCP, meaning all reporting requirements have been fulfilled, support the behavioral health and human service needs of children, young adults, and families in Bucks County, and be exempt under Section 501(c)(3), charitable organizations, as well as classified in Section 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Applicants must upload official correspondence from a federal and/or state agency documenting loss of funding or significant delay, minimum of six (6) months, in reimbursement from a governmental agency. For example, a nonprofit receives notification from the U.S. Department of Education informing the agency of a cancelled grant due to shifting priorities.
- Nonprofits accepting Rapid Response funding do so for the purpose of continuing program(s)/service(s) impacted by public funding cut(s)/reimbursement delay(s). For example, an organization has been waiting on its reimbursement requests for its adult literacy program for nearly a year and seeks grant funding to continue the program by paying the staff administering it.
