TAUW’s Social Innovations Grants offer one-time funding to help organizations test new ideas that strengthen internal capacity, improve services, fill gaps, and expand impact creatively. These grants support innovative solutions aimed at making a meaningful difference in the community.
The Tulsa Area United Way (TAUW) provides grants ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for projects within Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Rogers, Tulsa, and Wagoner counties in Oklahoma. The funding period is one year, with awards to be used in 2026.
In 2025, TAUW will prioritize proposals from organizations with annual operating budgets under $2 million. Priority is given to projects that address significant inequities or disparities, clearly state what the organization hopes to learn, and explain how those learnings will benefit the broader community. Leadership teams with lived experience related to the work or clients are also favored.
Five organizations will each receive a $40,000 award to implement their innovative proposals. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits or have a fiscal sponsor with that status. The majority of clients served by the proposal must live within TAUW’s service area.
Proposals must present new solutions addressing specific gaps, barriers, or challenges faced by the organization or community. Projects must align with one of TAUW’s four key focus areas: Youth Opportunity, Healthy Community, Financial Security, or Community Resiliency.
The application deadline is July 31, 2025.
