SAJF is a volunteer women’s organization that has provided the San Antonio region with a variety of civic, educational and philanthropic services since 1961, and in doing so, has enhanced the lives of the members and the community.
Funding Information
Applications are accepted from non-profits seeking funding of a maximum of $20,000.
Grant Period
San Antonio Junior Forum’s fiscal year is June 1st – May 31st.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations must be tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3)
- Organizations must have a locally independent chapter
- Grants must be used to support specific projects that will benefit economically, emotionally, and/or physically disadvantaged individuals
- Grants must be used to support projects in Bexar or contiguous counties (Kendall, Comal, Guadalupe, Wilson, Atascosa, Medina, Bandera)
- Grants are not provided to fund Individuals, churches, public or private schools, private foundations, or National organizations without a locally independently chapter
- Funding should NOT be requested for research, salaries or wage compensation and benefits, administrative expenses, training and consulting, travel expenses, political, capital or religious campaigns, fundraising expenses (purchase of tables, tickets or advertisements), general operating expenses, endowments, debt reduction, acquisition or construction of buildings, facility maintenance, or purchase of vehicles.
