Until further notice, the Foundation is targeting three specific priority areas for capital funds: 1) increasing access to childcare for low-income families; 2) increasing access to healthcare through community health centers or other community-based interventions; and 3) creating shelter/affordable housing.
From its founding, the broad mission of the Amelia Peabody Foundation was to support charitable organizations in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Foundation provides support across the state to amplify and extend the positive social impact of Amelia Peabody’s philanthropic legacy in perpetuity. Specifically, the Amelia Peabody Foundation supports programs and services for youth and families, particularly those from under-resourced communities.
