Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifying organizations meet basic criteria to be considered for charitable funding at Truist and may move forward with a grant application; however, meeting the qualifying organization criteria does not guarantee a grant will be provided.
- To qualify for funding, an organization must meet all of the following Qualifying criteria:
- Be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and classified as a public charity under IRC Section 509(a)(1), 509(a)(2), or 509(a)(3). (For organizations classified as Type III supporting organizations under Section 509(a)(3), only functionally integrated organizations may qualify.) Align to one of the established Truist Foundation giving pillars and not fall under the “non-qualifying” or “ineligible” categories below. Be U.S.-based.
- Comply fully with the USA Patriot Act.
