The Loudoun Community Response Fund was launched in 2025 to strengthen the community’s capacity to meet the growing needs of individuals and families striving for financial stability, well-being, safety, and long-term security. As more Loudoun residents seek assistance, the Loudoun Community Response Fund helps ensure that local nonprofits have the resources and support needed to deliver essential services and promote lasting stability. Funding for the Loudoun Community Response Fund is made possible through support from the County of Loudoun.
Services to be funded through this grant include providing financial assistance on behalf of eligible families to cover expenses related to relocation to and maintaining safe and stable housing. Examples of eligible assistance provided includes (but is not limited to):
- Rental assistance
- Rental security deposits
- Rental application fees
- Utility deposits
- Pet deposits
- Moving expenses and supplies
- Housing application fee assistance
- Accessibility accommodations
- Downpayment assistance
- Housing counseling services (both rental and homeownership.
Funding Information
- Up to $825,000 will be available for this grant program.
- It is expected that an assistance package up to $10,000 for eligible housing and relocation expenses should be available per eligible household and that at least 75 households should be assisted.
Grant Period
December 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Priority may be given to applicant organizations with a demonstrated record of service delivery specifically for and in mobile home or manufactured home communities. Grant funds will not be awarded directly to individuals.
