Objectives
- The Contractor shall provide services and staff to deliver training and technical assistance, as determined through a collaborative process that includes consultation with Commerce and input from the Weatherization Advisory Committee and the Technical Development Committee (TDC).
- The Contractor shall operate an Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC)–accredited Weatherization Training Center and deliver training, technical assistance, and workforce development services in support of the Washington State Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP).
Funding Information
Commerce has budgeted an amount not to exceed $407,678 for this project.
Grant Period
July 1st, 2026, and to end on June 30, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
- Licensed to do business in Washington or submit a statement of commitment that it will become licensed in Washington within thirty (30) calendar days of being selected as the Apparent Successful Contractor.
- Five years of experience in delivering training in the WAP network.
- Accredited by The Interstate Renewable Council (IREC)
- Has a physical training center accessible in Washington state with on-demand access for training, testing, and field training in person, provide address.
