Grant requests should not exceed $5,000.
Uses of funds
Funds may be used to expand existing programs or to initiate new projects that impact Hamilton County. Additional consideration will be awarded to programs or projects that:
- directly benefit youth under 21 years of age.
- provide youth with leadership opportunities in planning, organizing and/or delivering the proposed program or project.
- offer a learning component beyond the project itself, which provides youth with specific knowledge about the purpose and activities of your organization.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status under the IRS
- Community groups working for public benefit projects
- A demonstrated need for this project/program in the community
- Project has a direct impact on Hamilton County residents
- Requests from organizations which have operated successfully for at least one year and demonstrate an ability to enlist financial support from the public
- Funding for the project is limited or unavailable from other sources.
