The Hancock County System of Care Grant is available to local organizations aiming to improve or enhance programs, practices, and policies that align with the Youth Thrive Framework. This initiative supports youth development by encouraging systems to shift their approach based on current knowledge of adolescent growth and engagement.
Youth Thrive, developed by the Center for the Study of Social Policy, serves as a foundational element of this grant. It promotes efforts that prioritize adolescent brain development, build social connections, strengthen cognitive and emotional skills, provide concrete support during times of need, and foster resilience in young people.
The grant program will distribute a total of $25,000, with individual proposals eligible to request up to $5,000. The grant period runs from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, with funding intended to support efforts that apply or strengthen the use of the Youth Thrive Framework.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit, faith-based, education, and community organizations located in and serving Hancock County, Ohio. Priority will be given to proposals that either actively implement the Youth Thrive Framework or demonstrate a clear plan to build competence in applying its principles.
