Grants to Enhance Lexington’s Corridors in Kentucky

Dated: September 9, 2025

The Corridors Enhancement Match Grant Program supports neighborhoods and community-based groups who want to improve Lexington’s corridors, or roadways, by enhancing the experience of those who utilize them.

Donor Name: City of Lexington

State: Kentucky

City: Lexington

Type of Grant: Matching Grants

Deadline: 10/10/2025

Size of the Grant: $1000 to $10,000

Grant Duration: Grant Duration Not Mentioned

Details:

The Corridors Commission, which oversees the grant program, encourages projects such as beautification, litter awareness and clean-ups, and repairs of dilapidated neighborhood features. This is an opportunity to enhance a well-traveled roadway in the city and improve your neighborhood’s entrance.

There are 32 eligible corridors, and grant proposals must be for project locations that are on or directly adjacent to a corridor. Applications should be for improvements on publicly-owned property or common area community-owned properties that benefit the whole corridor. Consider the following activities for your grant proposal:

  • physical improvements for public or community property;
  • activities to plan, promote, or finance voluntary clean-ups and neighborhood improvement efforts;
  • activities to enhance the beauty of corridors by the removal and replacement of dead or diseased trees;
  • litter awareness, prevention and cleanup activities.
