gBETA is a free, seven-week accelerator designed for early-stage companies with strong local roots. This program, powered by gener8tor, is open to startups based in Greeley, Colorado.
Up to five companies from various industries are selected from a competitive applicant pool to join the program. Participants receive personalized coaching and mentorship from gener8tor’s nationally ranked team, focusing on company growth and investor readiness. The program also offers weekly “Lunch & Learns,” “Mentor Swarms,” and opportunities to pitch to investors and accelerators.
Startups gain access to over $1 million in deals and perks from leading vendors like IBM Cloud, Amazon, PayPal, Microsoft, HubSpot, Zendesk, and Rackspace. Support continues even after the program through ongoing involvement in the gener8tor community.
The goal of gBETA is to prepare graduates to enter investment accelerators or successfully raise seed funding. To be eligible, startups must be based in Greeley, Colorado, and ready to commit to at least 85% of the program, which requires 5-7 hours of weekly participation besides independent work.
Participants should be open to discussing their business with mentors and investors, be focused on fundraising, and have a sales strategy either already in place or ready to scale. Coachability, responsiveness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for success in this program.
