gBETA is a free, seven-week accelerator program designed for early-stage startups with strong local connections. The program is open to companies based in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Up to five startups are selected from a competitive pool of applicants to participate.
Selected companies benefit from one-on-one coaching and mentorship from the gener8tor team, who specialize in growth strategy and investor readiness. The program also features weekly “Lunch & Learns,” “Mentor Swarms,” investor and accelerator pitch sessions, and access to over $1 million in deals and perks from vendors like IBM Cloud, Amazon, Zendesk, PayPal, and Microsoft.
gBETA continues to support participants even after the program ends, offering access to the gener8tor alumni network and additional resources. The program is built to help companies graduate into full investment accelerators or prepare them to raise a seed round.
This opportunity is best suited for early-stage startups that have launched a product or MVP and are either gaining early traction or preparing to enter the market. gBETA is industry-agnostic, welcoming startups from a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, Industry 4.0, AI/ML, cybersecurity, robotics, AR/VR, 3D printing, and digital twins. However, it is not intended for brick-and-mortar stores or service-based businesses.
To be eligible, startups must be based in the Gulf Coast region and be venture-backable. The program is delivered in a hybrid format, with most sessions taking place in person in Mobile, Alabama. Founders must commit to attending at least 85% of the program, with 5–7 hours of weekly programming in addition to independent work.
Participants should be ready to discuss their business openly with mentors and investors, be focused on growth and fundraising, and show a high level of coachability and responsiveness. The application deadline is August 24, 2025.
