In 2002, GE’s African American Forum employee resource group partnered with businesses throughout Greater Cincinnati to form the GCAASF, administered by Greater Cincinnati Foundation. Between 2002 and 2014, the fund provided scholarships to more than 230 local students who attended 83 different universities.
These scholarships are for high school seniors in the Greater Cincinnati Area.
Funding Information
Up to ten scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 will be awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered for these scholarships:
- 2025 Greater Cincinnati-area high school graduate
- Un-weighted cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Entering first year of study at a 2–5-year accredited institution
- Enrolled in full-time curriculum
- Pursuing associate or bachelor’s degree.
