  • Community need or opportunity
    • Low– Project is redundant of work in the field and real need is not demonstrated in the proposal.
    • Medium- Proposal demonstrates a modest, but not critical need in the community.
    • High- Proposal demonstrates a significant and critical need and is local and timely. Organization is in a key strategic position to meet need.
  • Feasibility and impact
    • Low– Project is unlikely to fulfill its stated outcomes. Barriers to success are high and organization does not have a clear plan to overcome those barriers.
    • Medium- Project’s anticipated outcomes seem appropriate and achievable. May need some modifications.
    • High- Proposal presents a solid strategy for achieving anticipated outcomes. Staff and funding are in place to successfully complete the project.
  • Project budget
    • Low-Potential issues exist in timeline and budget. Budget may not be reasonable.
    • Medium- Timeline and budget make sense. Budget is reasonable.
    • High-Proposal includes well thought-out timeline and cost-effective budget. Budget is reasonable and makes good strategic sense.
  • Role of CRCF grant
    • Low– It is unclear how grant will achieve project outcomes without other support and planning.
    • Medium- Grant plays a key role in budget and sustainability and project completion appears likely. Grant has potential to bring positive attention to CRCF.
    • High- Grant plays a key role in budget and sustainability and other funds are solidly in place to execute the project successfully. Grant has potential to bring positive attention to CRCF
