This grant is designed to help small community-based organizations implement and fund projects and provide resources and education for the communities they serve.

Funding Information
Minimum award amount is $50,000. Maximum award amount is $200,000. Bids outside of this range may fail during eligibility determination.
Grant Period
36-month contract period.
Eligibility Criteria
For this grant, applicants must be either:
- A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation (NFP). To be eligible the NFP must also be a Community-Based Organization as defined below; or
- A Tribal organization. The Tribal organization must be recognized by the State of New York or the United States with a reservation wholly or partly sharing geography with New York State.
Ineligibility
The following organizations are not eligible to apply for OEJ grant opportunities.

- Individuals
- Universities
- Government bodies
- Statewide, and National organizations.
