The 8th annual Health Equity Hero awards celebrate forward-thinking individuals or organizations taking action to transform existing health systems and directly or indirectly improving health outcomes.
The DentaQuest Health Equity Hero awards have celebrated people and organizations for efforts to make the U.S. health system more just and equitable.
COVID-19 illuminated significant health challenges, both deep-rooted and new, which call for new ways to ensure every person has the opportunity to attain optimal health.
These heroes are re-imagining care (dental, medical, behavioral, integrated) to be more:
- accessible
- equitable
- inclusive
- relevant
- affordable
- useful to the people they serve
Funding Information
- In addition to promoting the contributions of the 2022 Health Equity Heroes, DentaQuest is providing a $5,000 charitable contribution in the name of each finalist to a qualified nonprofit organization of their choice.
