The children’s parent(s) must either work or attend a job training or educational program or need/or receive protective services.

Goals

The CCDF program is committed to providing funding towards quality child care services that adequately address the needs and unique circumstances of Native Hawaiian youth as defined in Section 658E(c)(2)(G)(ii)(V)(dd) of the CCDBG Act (42 U.S.C. 9858c(c)(2)(G)(ii)(V)(dd)).

  • Engaging and supporting parents and other family members by including providing consumer education;

  • Promoting continuous quality improvement activities;
  • Coordinating and collaborating with other early care and education programs administered at the state or local level, schools, and other services as appropriate;
