Who is eligible?
- Be an artist working in a craft discipline
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have been residing and working in the U.S. or U.S. Territories for the last two years
- I have experienced a recent, unforeseen, practice threatening emergency. (Unfortunately, routine dental work, chronic health conditions, or issues related to lack of employment or poor business practices will not be considered for this program. Due to the high demand for emergency relief and limited funding, cases based solely on economic losses due to Covid-19 are not eligible). Emergencies vary based on an individual’s circumstances and applications will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
- Artists are eligible to receive one grant per practice threatening emergency and no more than one emergency relief grant per calendar year. Artists are eligible to receive a maximum number of 4 emergency relief grants over the course of their lifetime.
