Funding Information
WPF has a total of $4.5 million available to advance this objective at this time. The maximum total grant amount requested cannot exceed $675,000.
Grant Period
Foundation is requesting proposals for three years of unrestricted operating support.
Disciplines
WPF funds the following disciplines: dance, design, folk and traditional arts, media arts, music, musical theater, opera, multidisciplinary arts, theater, literary arts, and visual arts.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be an arts and culture organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 public charity. WPF defines an arts and culture organization as an entity dedicated to the creation, performance, and/or presentation of publicly accessible artistic and cultural programs and experiences. Eligible applicants must have received an Arts and Culture grant within the past 10 years. Current Arts and Culture grantees must have a grant that has been active for at least one year.
- Under this RFP, the Foundation will not consider proposals from the following:
- The majority of the funding will be awarded to organizations in the City of Philadelphia. However, proposals from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, and the city of Camden, NJ will also be considered.
