The Prosper HealthTech Accelerator invests in five high-growth startups per cohort. This program is open to any startup creating cutting-edge, health technology and the program aims to make Birmingham the center of health technology solutions.

They envision a healthcare system transformed by the innovative solutions of their portfolio companies, making Birmingham, Alabama, the epicenter of healthcare innovation in the Southeast. Their program is ideal for early-stage companies that tackle major healthcare challenges. Their process ensures they partner with those capable of delivering significant impact.

Up to $90k into your high growth, digital health startup.

Program Benefits

Selected team will receive a variety of benefits provided by their program partners:

  • Office space within Prosper’s headquarters.
  • Twelve weeks of individualized coaching and mentorship from the gener8tor team during bi-weekly, one-on-one meetings.
  • One-on-one meetings with 100+ connections including serial entrepreneurs, industry experts and investors.
  • Weekly cohort programming featuring topics including understanding market size, choosing a revenue model, and how to pitch investors.
  • Exclusive Premiere Night reception during which participating companies have the opportunity to pitch to an audience of entrepreneurs, mentors, investors and community members.
  • Opportunity to build relationships within the cohort of five companies, and the community of gener8tor alumni.
  • $1M + in deals and perks from vendors like IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Amazon, PayPal, Zendesk, Hubspot and Microsoft.
  • $60K in exchange for 6% common stock equity.
