The Supplemental Community Grant Program is intended to fund costs from $1000-$5000 for items that are not covered by other sources.

Eligible Examples

Examples include:

• Capital Projects- including repairs and replacements, technology upgrades and equipment/furnishing purchases.  If applicable, applications to techsoup.org will be required first. This grant is intended to cover the costs in excess or denied from other sources.
• Organizational Development – for costs related to succession planning, entity mergers, and management systems (financial, HR, technology). These costs need to have a lasting impact on the organization overall. lt is not intended to be for board or staff development. Finance training will be allowed.

• Organizations must provide proof of the following items:
  • Applicants must be tax exempt under code 501C3, 501C4 of the IRS code.
  • Applicants need to have at least 3 years of operating existence.
  • Organizational budget: Applicants must have an average gross income for the last 2 years between $150,000 and $2,000,000 and be in a good fiscal standing.
