All grants from this Fund must be made for charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes to an organization that is described in IRS code as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Qualified organizations also include schools, religious institutions, or government agencies (when the funds are used for a public purpose) located in the Greater Huntsville area.
Funding Requirements
Participation in and completion of the Pathway to Sustainability Training, which includes the following:
- Completion of two (2) hours of Board training (with at least 75% of Board members participating in complete training) and Board minutes/approval identifying agency’s position on and commitment to Pathway to Sustainability within four (4) months of signing of the grant agreement.
- Participation by organization representative in at least 75% of monthly cohort meetings including four staff trainings.
- Completion of one-year anniversary audit of acceptance of Charity Tracker software and agency accountability to the Pathway model demonstrated through Charity Tracker Outcomes Report and presentation at Final Outcomes Meeting.
