The City of Corpus Christi Workforce and Drought Relief Grant Program will provide financial support in the form of grants to small business owners and nonprofit organizations in industries directly impacted by the recent Stage 3 Water Restrictions. The program, funded by the City of Corpus Christi and administered by LiftFund.

Eligible businesses may receive up to $50,000.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, businesses must:
- Be located within the City of Corpus Christi.
- Have been in operation for at least one year as of the date the application is submitted.
- Be currently operational and able to demonstrate business activity through sales deposits on the most recent bank statement.
- Employ at least one full-time employee, including owner.
- Demonstrate a minimum 20% revenue loss year over year as a result of Stage 3 Water Restrictions. Losses will be determined based on bank statements provided.
- Be in good standing with the Texas Comptroller’s office, if applicable.
- Be current on property taxes. This will be verified by the City of Corpus Christi prior to award notification.
- Business activity may not be a prohibited industry: gambling, speculative real estate investors, government entities and sexually oriented businesses are not eligible.
