The Community Enrichment Grant is intended to support projects and programs that directly serve Adams County residents, with funding requests based on the actual costs to provide services.
Types of Tier
- Tier 1 – Community Stabilization & Basic Needs
- Purpose & Focus: Support programs that stabilize families and individuals through housing, food security, transportation, healthcare, and emergency assistance. Priority for organizations serving low- to moderate-income residents, seniors, and other vulnerable populations.
- Tier 2 – Regional & Systemic Impact Projects
- Purpose & Focus: Invest in regional initiatives or collaborations that tackle systemic issues like homelessness, workforce development, or behavioral health. Must demonstrate multi-agency partnerships and measurable community-level impact.
- Tier 3 – Innovation & Emerging Needs
- Purpose & Focus: Seed funding for new, emerging, or pilot programs addressing unmet or rising community needs. Encourages equity– focused or culturally specific programs.

Total funding available: $800,000.
- Tier 1 – Community Stabilization & Basic Needs
- Allocation: $500,000
- Grant Size Range: $25,000 – $100,000
- Tier 2 – Regional & Systemic Impact Projects
- Allocation: $200,000
- Grant Size Range: $100,000 – $200,000
- Tier 3 – Innovation & Emerging Needs
- Allocation: $100,000
- Grant Size Range: $10,000 – $50,000.
Grant Period
Funding must be used within the current calendar year: January 1st through December 31st.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations that have 501(c) status or are a special district are eligible to apply for the grant. An organization that has not received 501(c) status from the IRS can work through a fiscal agent to apply for the grant
- Applicant organizations must be registered with the Colorado Secretary of State and in good standing at the time of application
- Eligible Applicants:

- Native American Tribe
- Non Profits
- Schools/School Districts.
