Funding Priorities

  • Youth Health and Wellness
    • Meeting basic physiological needs of children in order for them to thrive mentally, emotionally, and physically
    • Focus Areas: Mental Health, Food Security/Basic Needs
  • Youth and High School Football
    • Improving youth and high school football through programs, clinics and camps that focus on character, player safety, team development and the benefits of football
    • Focus Areas: Equipment/Uniforms, Health and Player Safety, Participation for Underrepresented Youth
  • Dynamic In and Out Of School Programming
    • Preparing youth to achieve their full potential through activities and experiences to develop academic, developmental, and social competencies
    • Focus Areas: School Engagement, Afterschool Programming
  • Access to Career Pathways
    • Building educational and economic opportunities for an enriching life of self-sufficiency after high school
    • Focus Areas: College and Career Exploration, College Access, Career Readiness.

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Organizations must provide programs or services in the state of Colorado
  • Organizations may only complete one application per calendar year (Jan. 1 – Dec. 31)
  • Organizations must have a 501c3 status or government equivalent and operate with a programming expense ratio equal to or higher than 80%
  • Grant requests must be for a specific youth-serving program or project in one of the funding priority areas listed, serving youth ages 5-24
  • The Community Grant Program does not fund: fundraising support (special event tables, event sponsorships, auction items, etc.), administration/operating costs, religious organizations, individuals, endowments or other reserve funds, annual memberships, political campaigns, conferences, workshops, group or individual trips. they also do not fund individuals who are fundraising on behalf of a charity
  • Completing this grant application does not guarantee funding from the Denver Broncos Foundation
  • After submitting your application, please do not contact the Denver Broncos regarding its status
  • Due to the volume of applications, they do not provide feedback on proposals that are not funded
  • Organizations that have previously received a Denver Broncos Community Grant:
    • Are not guaranteed recurring funding
    • Must have submitted a grant report via CyberGrants to the Denver Broncos Foundation to be eligible to submit an application again.
