Organization Project Grant for Production of high-quality Creative Activities in Maine

Dated: December 17, 2021

Organization Project grant supports the production of high-quality creative activities, the creation of new work, and the continuation of existing arts programs by organizations. Projects can be in any artistic discipline and on any scale.

Donor Name: Maine Arts Commission

State: Maine

County: All Counties

Type of Grant: Grant

Deadline (mm/dd/yyyy): 04/07/2022

Size of the Grant: $5,000

Details:

Multidisciplinary or multipurpose organizations, including arts entities embedded in universities and colleges, are eligible if they demonstrate that the arts comprise at least 50% of the organization’s programming and have an independent advisory board. Universities or Colleges in their entirety, or individual departments, may not apply.

The Maine Arts Commission applications are built around a project funding model, with questions that are designed to collect information about project impact. They understand this discrepancy between this and some Organization grant applications. They understand that not all answers will align directly with the question fields. Please do the best you can in providing the most accurate information.

Funding Information

Grant amount awarded $5,000.

Eligibility Requirements

All applicants must have an active Maine Arts Commission account and current Vendor Code to receive funding. An organization is eligible to apply if it meets the following criteria at the time of application:

  • The applicant has a valid DUNS number.
  • Is in compliance with Final Reports required by the Maine Arts Commission for previous awards.

Award Restrictions

  • Organization Development
  • Organization Partnership
  • Organization Project

However, awardees in any of these three programs ARE eligible to receive Arts Learning, Arts & Humanities, Creative Aging, and Cultural Planning grants during the same cycle.
