The District of Columbia Department of Human Services, Family Services Administration, is accepting applications to provide housing and supportive services for the Youth Drop-in Center program for Fiscal Year 2026. This initiative aims to support youth experiencing housing instability or homelessness between the ages of 18 and 24.
The program includes one 24-hour drop-in center and two daytime drop-in centers designed to engage meaningfully with at least 30 to 40 youth each day. These centers offer resources, skills training, and services to help young people achieve stable housing and improve their overall well-being.
The total funding available for this opportunity is up to $3 million, with individual awards ranging from $473,000 to $1.8 million. The grant period will run from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) status, faith-based groups, and private enterprises operating in the District of Columbia. The application deadline is July 18, 2025.
