Coordinated by Stonewall Community Foundation, Stonewall Quarter Share (SQS) is a network of emerging leaders who, through volunteer service and collective giving, support LGBTQ causes throughout New York City. Each year, SQS members award one or more grants to advance programming and services that directly benefit LGBTQ New Yorkers.
SQS have seen attacks on some of the most vulnerable parts of community increase at an alarming rate. Many of these attacks have targeted our community’s physical and mental wellbeing, intending to deprive LGBTQ people of right to access vital services and care. This year’s SQS grant aims to strengthen and support an organization focused on LGBTQ health and wellness.

SQS is proud to announce it will be awarding a grant of $35,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Organizations—including current and past Stonewall Community Foundation grant recipients—are eligible to apply if they meet all of the following criteria:
- Their current or most operating recent budget was $1M or less;
- They focus on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people;
- They work in one, some, or all of the five boroughs of New York City; and
- They have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status as evidenced by an IRS-issued determination letter; or a formal written sponsorship agreement with a fiscal agent that has such status.
