In the spirit of Arts For EveryBody, these grant funds will support artist-led and/or community-based projects that foster art participation and improve healthier communities through arts and culture.
Examples of projects for the Arts For EveryBody Community Project Grant may include concerts, exhibitions, festivals, parades, performances, celebrations of local artists, community days, artists in residence, ethnic identity, social, or cultural specific traditions with clear arts connections such as music, spoken word, or visual arts and similar activities. The arts must be the central focus of the event or program. Projects must be accessible to the public and show community impact. Priority will be given to Projects that encourages collaboration, address social and/or economic impact through the arts, or connect artists or arts professionals.
Funding Information
Eligible applicants can apply for grants ranging from $5,000 to $35,000.
Grant Period
January 1 – December 31, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must be
- A 501 (c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, for-profit entity, artist or resident that resides in Winston-Salem or Forsyth County for at least one year.
- Both nonprofit and for-profit entities must have a mission that describes arts and culture as the primary purpose. If not, it is recommended that the entity partners with a local artist or arts organization.
- Educational pre-schools and K-12 schools/institutions are not eligible for this program.
