The focus of this grant program is to provide general operating support related to access to care. This program is open to nonprofit organizations that serve Strafford County residents and work on access to care challenges. Access to care may include: substance use disorder services, food security, housing, senior services, transportation and logistics, culturally appropriate care, awareness of services, care coordination and patient motivation. Priority will be given to collaboration projects along with applicants targeting maternal health. If your organization is seeking project-specific support related to mental health/behavioral health/substance use disorder services; early education/childcare or food security.

These are nonrenewable, one-year grants.
Geographic Areas
Funding is limited to organizations providing services in Strafford County, New Hampshire.
Eligibility Criteria
Organizations must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations that do not have public charity status may apply for grants if another public charity acts as a fiscal sponsor.
The following organization types should not apply:
- Public and private schools
- Hospitals
- Colleges and universities
- Religious organizations
- Municipalities and government entities.
