These grants are made possible from the annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Funding Information
Homeowners who meet HUD income and homeownership guidelines are eligible to be assisted with funding with a maximum of $7,500.00 for an eligible project, with a 25% match required from the homeowner by way of a loan or out-of-pocket monies. For example, a qualifying homeowner wants to make plumbing and electrical improvements to the interior of their home. The total project cost is $10,700. The City would contribute $7,500 toward the project and the homeowner would be responsible for $3,200.
Eligible Projects
Eligible projects for this round include but are not limited to wheelchair ramps, interior safety grab-bars and handrails, furnace replacement, plumbing and electrical improvements, and roofing.
Eligibility Requirements:
Own and live in the home within which services are being requested in the City of Euclid, OH.
