The Freed Fellowship Grant program is a monthly small business grant program designed to support underrepresented and overlooked small business owners.
Grant funds can be used for any business-related expenses as the recipients see fit. This is what they mean by no-strings-attached. They do not require reporting, limit what the funds can be used for, or take equity.
What Do You Get If Selected?
- $500 No-Strings-Attached Grant
- If you are selected as a Freed Fellow, you will receive a $500 grant. You do not need to repay this money and do not need to give up any equity in your business. You can use these funds however you want to grow your business. They only ask you help spread the word by sharing news of your selection on social media and be an active member in the community.
- One-on-One Strategy Session with Team of Business Experts
- You’ll get a transformative 60-minute strategy session with the Freed Founding Team (valued at $1000). This is a deep dive into your business, unlocking hidden potential and offering fresh perspectives. They’ll help you identify pivotal growth opportunities, challenge your assumptions, and develop innovative strategies to propel your business forward.
- Invitation to the Freed Stories Podcast
- As a Freed Fellow, will be invited to share your journey on the Freed Stories Podcast. This is an opportunity to get exposure for your business that will live on for years.
- One Year Membership in the Freed Studio
- You’ll receive one year of support inside Freed Studio, the online community for small business owners who want to grow their email list and turn it into consistent, reliable sales.
- Eligibility for a $2,500 Year-End Grant
- You will automatically be considered for an additional $2,500 grant at the end of the year.
Eligibility Criteria
Any micro or small business owner in the US is eligible. They especially encourage women, minorities and others considered underrepresented or overlooked to apply.
