This opportunity was created out of a desire from a Sacramento Region Community Foundation fund holder to honor his wife, Maggie. Maggie loved bike transportation safety, and her husband is opening a fund to honor her efforts in this field. The pair met at CalTrans, where Maggie became the bicycle safety coordinator and worked diligently to incorporate bicycle safety into CalTrans projects.

- Be a California-based nonprofit that wishes to see a more peaceful coexistence between bicycles and vehicles.
- Organizations serving the state of California.
