Across the Commonwealth, nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups, and others plan MLK Day of Service projects honoring the legacy in their communities. Serve Virginia and the Virginia Service Foundation support these efforts through mini grant funding opportunities as well as promotional assistance to engage community members in volunteerism.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must represent public or private nonprofit organizations that serve the Commonwealth of Virginia, including faith-based and other community organizations, public or private schools, institutions of higher education, and government entities. Funding will be provided on a reimbursement basis to selected organizations and proof of project completion and volunteer engagement is required.
