The GEICO Philanthropic Foundation focuses its funding on three key areas:
- Educating
- The Foundation regularly teams up with nonprofits focused on educational resources and opportunities supporting diverse communities across the country, as well as groups that focus on STEM, early childhood learning, and safety.
- Engaging the Community
- Part of the Foundation’s vision is improving the communities and supporting local organizations through volunteer and outreach efforts. Topics of focus may include:

Eligibility Criteria
GEICO Philanthropic Foundation contributions may be awarded to:
- Organizations operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, or educational purposes
- 501(c)(3) Charitable nonprofit organizations.
Ineligibility
The Foundation will not contribute to
- Individual assistance or individual scholarships
- Organizations that are religious or political in nature or have a religious or political affiliation
- Schools that are not a 501(c)(3) entity
- A compulsory school athletic group
- Home-based child care/educational services.
