The America Needs You Fellows Program is a two-year program that empowers first-generation college students with the tools they need to graduate college, succeed in their careers, and compete at the highest level by providing one-on-one mentorship, intensive career development, robust networks, and holistic support.

The program consists of monthly workshops focused on the essential, non-academic skills needed to attain professional internships and jobs.
Benefits
- In Year One: Fellows will build a foundation for career readiness by developing key professional skills, experiences, and networks, with a focus on securing and internship.
- In Year Two: Fellows will develop essential personal and professional skills to develop a long-term career plan and navigate life directly after college.
- In addition to 15 Saturday Career Development workshops, Fellows also receive:
- One-on-one mentorship and guidance
- Internship Support
- Up to $1,000 in grant funding each year.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Neither of my parents/guardians have a bachelor’s degree (from any country). If this is true and an older sibling has a bachelor’s degree, I am still eligible.
- I am a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or by the application deadline, eligible for full-time and off-campus internships, as well as paid employment opportunities in the United States.
- I plan to graduate with my Bachelor’s degree in 2028 or later.
- If attending community college, you must intend to transfer to a 4-year school (ANY provides transfer support).
- I am in the process of obtaining my first Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- I am available to attend monthly Saturday workshops starting in September.
