Underserved audiences include BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, people with disabilities, seniors 65+, Veterans, at-risk youth, and people living in low-income circumstances. Applicants from historically under-represented groups are strongly encouraged to apply!

Projects must be completed 12 months from the approval date.
Eligible Proposals
Proposals must take place within Region 7W and directly benefit Region 7W residents. Applicants are eligible to receive one Arts Access Grant a year.
- Artistic performances/gallery series, exhibits
- Arts education experiences
- Arts workshops
- Sustaining and enhancing quality arts programming
- Celebrating the cultural & ethnic arts traditions represented in Region 7W.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must serve Region 7W residents and be located within the Minnesota counties of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, or Wright. Applicants from historically under-represented group, including but not limited to, BIPOC, people with disabilities or LGBTQIA+ are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Nonprofit 501(c)(3) arts organizations
- Cultural Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations that do not have arts as a primary focus
- Cultural Community groups that have nonprofit fiscal sponsorship
Ineligibility
- For-profit businesses
- K-12 schools, colleges, and universities
- CMAB grant recipients with any overdue final reports
- Applicants who have a received an Arts Access Grant in the current fiscal year.
