Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must operate or serve within Greene County, PA and fall into one of the following categories:
- Nonprofit organizations (501(c)3 or similar)
- Municipal governments or departments
- For-profit businesses (with a demonstrated tourism benefit).
Eligibility Requirements
Projects must meet all the following criteria:
- Tourism-Focused: Must be directly and substantially related to tourism, or to business, convention, or meeting travel within the county.
- Destination Development: Projects should demonstrate a clear and measurable contribution to strengthening Greene County as a destination for tourism, heritage travel, and special events. Priority will be given to initiatives that increase visitation, extend visitor stays, or promote the county’s unique assets.
- Local Match Requirement: A minimum 25% local match is required. This may be:
- Cash, or
- In-kind contributions (e.g., donated labor, services, materials).
