Eligible organizations may submit one grant application up to $15,000.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a mini-grant, your organization must:
- Align services, programs, or projects with the mission of one of the following element areas: arts and culture, community pride and sense of place, economic development, or social services.
- Be a legal, tax-exempt/not for profit organization (501(c)3 or 501(c)6) as defined by the Internal Revenue Code.
- Be located or functioning within the City of Coronado and provide services that benefit the Coronado community.
- Acknowledge that all documents related to the grant process including the application, supporting documentation, grant agreement, and grant expenditure documentation are a matter of public record and as such may be provided to the public upon request.
Evaluation Criteria
All mini-grant applications will be reviewed by City Staff and funding recommendations will be derived from the following criteria:
- Eligibility and completeness of the application
- Community impact of the proposed program/event
- Organizational capacity to execute the program
- Priority will be given to organizations that have previously been awarded a Community Grant and
have demonstrated successful program execution.
